Logging into a VPN
A good rule of thumb is to always wait for your RSA tokencode to change before entering it into the VPN software on your laptop, this helps to avoid sync errors.
Help prolong battery life
This one is for laptop users. I’d advise you run your laptop on battery power as often as you can, keeping the laptop plugged in and above 70% charge for long periods of time reduces the overall lifespan of the battery. You will eventually end up with a fully charged battery that can last as little as 20 minutes before running flat, ultimately deteriorating to the point where a replacement battery is required.
Instead, I would recommend running on battery power until the laptop battery lowers to around 20 -30% capacity, then charge it to full before repeating the process.Ask Stephen a question

The Fusebox has been working closely with the sales teams across the UK&I business as they continue to embrace GROW and the SMARThub tool to drive Arrow’s Sales Engagement Process.
Through a highly interactive Coaching Programme The Fusebox is empowering individuals to use GROW in every sales engagement and then map the outcomes into, and drive them through, the SMARThub tool. The Fusebox nominates one individual every quarter as a GROW Champion, in recognition of their commitment to using the GROW Model in all sales engagements and a clear demonstration of adding value into an account.
This month’s GROW Champion is James Winters, Global Account Director based out of the Newmarket Office.
Liz Hines of the Fusebox has been coaching James for the past 6 months. “James is excellent to work with and coach. He has applied GROW to all his sales engagements, but in particular he has overlaid it to the Business Analytics sessions that he has presented to both Secure Data and NTT, in conjunction with Barry Mullins. This new approach has delivered a much improved client experience, giving clarity, structure and above all delivering strategic outcomes that have total buy-in from the client. James has moved from a product-push and ‘telling’ sales approach to a more solution based, collaborative sales approach by applying new questioning skills that invite the client to co-create the way forward”, reported Liz Hines, BUYonomist at The Fusebox.
Ben Taylor, Head of Strategic Accounts has been really pleased with the results so far, “James became an Account Director as of April this year and has already shown himself to be a key member of the team. James has enhanced and improved the relationship we have with accounts like NTT and Secure Data in his time and is consistently looking for ways to grow and develop his accounts on a daily basis. James uses his resources well, and has fully embraced the coaching and GROW methodology offered within Arrow through The Fusebox. By using GROW, James has been able to step back and see the opportunity within each account with more clarity which has then focused his plans and activities. I believe GROW is something we all use on a daily basis but very often at a subconscious level – therefore to use it in the manner James does show a conscious recognition and need for understanding his own business, customers and Arrow’s offering.”
