Cloud Newsletter now on the Hub

Our very first Cloud and MSP newsletter is now available on the Hub.

We’re changing the way we communicate with our partners and this is one of the first steps towards that. They will connect with us exactly the same way you are now – with their news in an interactive and easily digestible format.

David Fearne eloquently describes cloud below while at the same time capturing exactly what we in marketing want to achieve with the Hub.

“Cloud is change. Why do I say this rather than utility computing, IaaS, PaaS… because the single biggest use of the word cloud is to start a conversation about change. Change in a business’ delivery model, change in an infrastructure, change in a financial cost.”

Paul Haines measures up as GROW Champion for July!

The Fusebox has been working closely with individuals and teams across the business over the past 5 years to embed GROW as a model across Arrow’s Sales Engagement Process.

It’s newest BUYonomist, Liz Hines, joined the coaching team last September and introduced a fresh, more user-friendly approach to using GROW to individuals that she was coaching, by looking at GROW in each individual’s context and introducing a GROW ladder.

The aim of this was to give individuals a clear goal in spotting opportunities to use GROW both internally and externally in any engagement, therefore creating value to both them and their clients.

The result has been a new breed of GROWers across the organisation with positive feedback on all levels.

To celebrate its success, The Fusebox will nominate an individual each month as a GROW Champion, in recognition of the individual's commitment to coaching, impressive use of GROW and a clear demonstration of adding value.

This month’s GROW Champion is Paul Haines, BDM within Dave Willey’s Virtualisation Team. He first attended an Induction Workshop back in May and has made a real impact across the business ever since with his proactive attitude to the process.

Paul immediately saw the benefits of GROW and used the model in a project he has been leading within a new Partner Recruitment Initiative for VMware. The results have been clearer goals, better alignment with the client and more proactive, strategic engagements leading to a level of success that was a direct result of implementing GROW.

Commenting on the nomination, Dave Willey said “Paul has recently taken on the role of managing multiple vendors, as well as the day to day management of our Pivot 3 funded head, Hollie.  Balancing the needs of more than one vendor requires an extra level of planning and focus than when he had the sole responsibility for Veeam Software. GROW has enabled Paul to focus on making the most out of every call, meeting and planning session. GROW is also a very useful tool to use overtly with members of your team to help frame their roles and responsibilities in a way to get the best out of everyone”.

Congratulations to Paul and we’re sure he will continue to GROW!
