Hello and welcome to the June edition and my first introduction for the Arrow ECS Newsletter, produced exclusively for BT Security.
My first quarter in the captain’s chair has been both exciting and challenging but the highlight for me has to be the “Art of Connecting” event that took place June 4th -5th. If you did not make the event it was for the 300 BT Global Services Client Directors to receive sales training and focus on our Art of Connecting themes of Realising the opportunities in the cloud (Cloud), Rethinking the risk (Security) and Working in harmony (Mobility and UC). I have to admit both the vendors and I did wonder how successful an event planned during InfoSec would be, but I’m pleased to say that the event was a major success. On a personal note it was great to put some names to faces and meet new people, I had some fantastic conversations and look forward to the follow up sessions with your teams to introduce I.T. Security and Arrow ECS in the near future.
Looking towards Q2, you may remember the FREE technical training Arrow ECS (formerly Computerlinks) have previously provided to BT. We have provided various skill transfer sessions to over 400 BT engineers across a multitude of different vendors. Over the coming months I will be sending out an invite to all of our known contacts however if you wish to register your interest please click here and we will ensure you receive the notification.
Until next time, I wish you well and look forward to working with you.
