For those that know me, you will understand my love of travel, so as we approach the summer months I approach it with excitement for what lies ahead, not to mention fantastic memories of the recent months gone by including Dell Technologies World in Las Vegas (more to come on that…)
However, my travels are not always to warmer climates…I also enjoy the journey that we as Arrow take our partners on through the Continuum that is the Dell EMC Portfolio.
Regardless of the Tier Status, whether you are a Titanium Partner, Platinum, Gold or Authorised, the journey remains the same and the destination and targets are without doubt the most rewarding within the Channel.
At Arrow, my team’s ethos is to ensure that our partners are enabled to best equip them for success. Whilst acknowledging that this doesn’t happen overnight, the Formula for this is based on a strong foundation based on tri-party partnerships.
On 8th May at Olympia, Arrow hosted our inaugural Vision event where we announced to the Channel how we see the changes in our role as a Distributor to the channel.
We now firmly believe that our role is to be seen as an aggregator of technology, harnessing our relationships throughout our vast Vendor portfolio, underpinned by capabilities of the Arrow Brand.
Dell Technologies play a significant role in Arrow’s Modern Data Centre strategy and I recently read a statement stating that by next year, 2020, the volume of data created each year will reach 44 Zettabyte’s and it’s not slowing down.
Dell recognise that all organisations need to become digital organisations powered by data and at Arrow we want to proactively ensure that our partners are enabled to deliver this mind shift successfully.
I touched on Dell Technologies World earlier, and once again I was delighted to be able to host so many partners at the event and I can honestly say that I have been fortunate enough to attend for the last 5 years and this year’s event was up there as one of the best I have attended.
It successfully delivered on point messaging, new products and opportunities to network to amongst others the largest contingent of UK&I Partners and End Users that I have seen before in attendance.
I encourage you to utilise this edition of the hub to learn or refresh your understanding of the product launches as well as take a look at the announcements at the Global Partner Summit- With “Defying Gravity” being the theme.
As we enter the mid-point of Dell EMC’s Q2 there are several things that Arrow are driving, including:
All details of the above can be obtained via your aligned Business Development Manager.
I recognise that your time is precious, but I can assure you that these events will do nothing but equip you to accelerate the growth of your business and help you reach your destination of success in a timely manner.
I hope everyone manages to take time out over the summer months to recharge your batteries and please remember that if you need any assistance or wish to reach out at any stage, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Thank you for your business.
