Don’t miss out: co-funding deadlines are approaching

Two very important deadlines are approaching and it’s important that you make your submission on time to ensure you don’t miss out.

Friday, 19 August - Q4 2016 Co-Marketing Campaigns and Funds Requests Submissions deadline

Monday, 29 August - Q2 2016 Claims Submissions deadline (for all campaigns that ended on 30th June, 2015)

All campaigns and fund request submissions must be entered into CMC (the Co-Marketing Centre) via completion of a MAP (Marketing Activity Plan) by Friday, 19 August. If you need any guidance around your proposed campaigns or support in how to submit a MAP in CMC speak to your IBM Marketing Manager

Alternatively, there are 'How To Guides' on the home page of CMC.  There are also a range of guidance webinars covering the new Co-Marketing funds application process 'How to Submit a MAP (Marketing Activity Plan)’.

Launching the new IBM DCM

IBM is launching the new Digital Content Marketing (DCM) portal in August. The new portal, powered by Zift will provide all of the great campaigns you’re used to, plus lots of new functionality. You will soon have access to the new console and IBM have a webinar on 30 August to tell you more about it.

New Business Partner Marketing Guide

Price Increase

From 1 October 2016, IBM is announcing a price increase across the software product portfolio. For most products prices will increase by 7% in UK .

For affected eligible products and their associated media and documentation packs, price changes are applicable for all eligible product offerings including:

  • Software License and 12-months Software Subscription & Support (S&S)
  • Trade up License and 12-months Software S&S
  • Software S&S Renewal and Reinstatement
  • Monthly Licensing
  • Selected Software as a Service (SaaS)
  • Selected Configured Software

Price changes are applicable for Software S&S Renewals pertaining to a coverage period beginning on or after 1 December 2016 regardless of when payment is received.

Price changes for new Software as a Service (SaaS) subscription and new Monthly Licensing commitment periods become effective 1 October  2016.
